Robin Hood and the Hoodies
Friday 19th and Saturday 20th May 2017 saw the Towers Convent travel back in time to 1172 and transform itself into Sherwood Forest and Nottingham Castle. This was Robin Hood with a twist. A band of actors looking for their next gig, mistakenly hired, by the feisty Maid Marion, as a group of outlaws who can save Nottingham from the evil Sheriff of Nottingham and dastardly King John.
Against the backdrop of a superb stage (lighting and sound), amazing costumes and props, the Year 6 brought the story alive with their “Oswald” worthy acting, ably supported from Reception to Year 5 with their singing and dancing. Well done everyone.
