Weekly Sports report – 30th April

On Tuesday were the delayed Year 8 and 9 Netball finals. Both Towers teams got through to the round robin finals as they came 2nd in their pools. Having not played netball for a few weeks the girls took a while to get into the swing of it but they both did extremely played and continued to play with a great level of commitments and determination. Over all the year 9s came 5th and the Year 8s came 4th.

Wednesday the junior and senior games were a wash out with the terrible rain all day, which was a shame. Fortunately it was picked up on Thursday for the first U14 and U15 rounders league games against Steyning 1, for their first game both teams did really well and it was a great starting point to see areas we need to focus on in training. The u15 game was very close ending in 8-5 and the U14 game ended 15 ½ – 6.
