Juniors are taught in a large converted house, which provides a welcoming, stimulating and friendly learning environment. Rooms are brightly decorated with pupils’ work and handy hints for learning. There is an art room, music rooms and an ICT suite. Outside, the landscaped garden has fun equipment to challenge all the children, a kitchen garden tended by the pupils and a hutch, housing our rabbits.
The main teaching block houses classrooms, spacious ICT suites and a well-stocked library. Teaching spaces are light and airy, perfectly suited to the delivery of the broad curriculum.
Our light and airy dedicated music room is bordered by dedicated composition rooms.
This studio is large enough for performances but ideally suited to group work. The space is flexible and well lit to provide stimulating surroundings for the very best performances.
Art, Photography and Design Technology
These are large, bright and airy rooms with plenty of space for pupils to work on large projects. Numerous computers and a 3-D printer are on hand for pupils to design and build their creations.
We have three well designed science laboratories, one for each discipline. Each laboratory is spacious with all the necessary facilities for pupils to successfully complete investigations and explore the scientific world.
Our well-maintained sports field is used for athletics, football, cricket and rounders. Beside the sports field we have tennis and netball courts, whilst inside there is a gym and a fitness suite. Our indoor swimming pool enables swimming lessons and clubs to take place all year round.
The large, light dining hall provides a comfortable eating area for pupils to enjoy a broad selection of healthy foods.
Food Preparation and Nutrition
Our kitchen provides both senior and junior pupils spacious workstations, at which to create culinary masterpieces and everyday dishes.
