It’s been another busy and successful week at The Towers.

Going back to last Friday, the gym was packed with school representatives at our Sixth Form Convention. It was such a pleasure to see past Towers girls return and hear how well they are all doing. As with every year, the unanimous cry from all Sixth Forms was that no other pupils match up to Towers girls! No surprise there then!

Sister Act rehearsals seem to be going to plan and we are all very excited about it. This year we are going to respond to the phenomenal feedback we get every year about the standard of our productions, by opening the Thursday and Friday nights up to the public. Only after you have all had ample opportunities to book your tickets, of course.

The snails have been in place for nearly a week now and we have received some delightful photos of pupils with them. Please keep them coming.

Yesterday our Riding Team enjoyed great success at Hickstead. The team performed so well that we came second with Briony M coming second and Bea C third in the individual placings. Congratulations!

This week has been largely devoted to Open Evening preparation but all the hard work was definitely worthwhile! The school was positively buzzing with visitors, some of whom were current parents, which was lovely to see. New visitors raved about our wonderful pupils (as always) who gave such professional and personalised tours and chatted so charmingly to them in classrooms.

All in all, a great success but needless to say, everyone is a little jaded today.

A huge thank you to those parents, who were able to join us last night and to those of you, who had extra taxi duties ferrying your children back and forth so that they could help us.

Have a lovely weekend.
