As a fabulous finale to this terms topic on dinosaurs, the children from Reception, Year 1 and 2 thoroughly enjoyed a visit to Southwater park near Horsham. Despite the inclement weather, the children fully immersed themselves in the task of finding dinosaurs hidden in the undergrowth of the forest. They were then set with the job of building their dinosaur a protective den, from the threat of a nearby erupting volcano. Time was also spent digging for dinosaur bones in the sand and sketching their discoveries. What super palaeontologists we have in the making!
