On Tuesday 7th May, Reception, Year 1 and 2 enjoyed a fun trip out to the Sea life Centre in Brighton.

The visit was to explore in more detail the creatures that live in the seas and oceans and supports our topic this term, ‘The Big Blue’.

Whilst having free time to explore the centre, the children also took part in a workshop called ‘who eats who’ where they learnt about the food chains of the oceans and how important it is to keep them balanced. A highlight of the morning was the rock pool talk, where the children had the opportunity to stroke a sea Anemone and starfish.
