Twenty-six Year 7, 8 and 9 netballers left on Friday 12th October for the PGL centre at Windmill Hill. The girls were very excited and looking forward to the netball matches starting the following morning. The two Year 7 and 8 teams played six tough matches throughout the day in separate pools, showing real commitment and determination. The Year 8 and 9 teams played consistently well and won all their games very convincingly. Between matches, the girls were able to take part in all the adventurous and exciting outdoor activities at the centre.

After a tough day, the Year 8 and 9 team qualified for the semi-finals and the Year 7 and 8 mixed team went through to the play-offs.  All teams played a further three games on Sunday, with the Year 8 and 9 team both getting through to the finals and the Year 7 and 8 mixed team staying in 11th position. The Year 9 team, despite playing well in the final, lost against Watford Grammar School putting them in 2nd position. The Year 8s played a very tense match against Newstead Wood School, ultimately losing to Newstead, who scored a golden goal.

A very successful weekend, thoroughly enjoyed by all girls, who showed true Towers determination and commitment.
