Since I last wrote we have become decidedly “christmassy” with trees and decorations galore. This lovely feeling is growing as pupils prepare for our nativities and carol services. Christmas jumper day gave everyone an opportunity to get into the spirit too.
On Monday, Mrs Syred and I attended the Snailspace auction, where we reacquainted ourselves with Sparkle and subsequently bid her farewell. She has certainly done us proud and we were delighted to win the most popular snail category on Twitter and in The Argus. On the subject of snails, Sweet tooth is now home to stay. You will see her in the Reception area, looking extremely festive!
Yesterday evening, it was lovely to catch up with our Yr8 parents at Parents’ Evening. Judging by the smiling, relieved faces of the girls, it was good news all round. Well done!
Currently our PTA elves are busily preparing for the Christmas Fair this afternoon. Santa’s grotto looks stunning and I gather he is on his way now.
Next week will be even busier and the term builds to a crescendo. I look forward to seeing you either later today or at our events next week.
Have a lovely weekend.
