On Friday 27th September, the Upper Juniors hosted a MacMillan Coffee Morning. A variety of delicious cakes cooked or donated by pupils were available for sale. There was also a fun game of Dunk the Biscuit in the Cuppa.
The event included a Towers Bake Off competition. The cakes were outstanding in taste, design and originality. Choosing the winner was an extremely difficult decision for the judges. Congratulations to the winner and runner-ups of The Towers Bake Off! Jemima made wonderful Sushi cakes and Millie baked a very chocolatey cake. The winner was Maggie who created a bee cake with a very important message to save our bees.
Pupils and parents enthusiastically supported the event and enjoyed the delicious fare, raising a very impressive £382.41 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Well done to all involved.
