Weekly match report – Week 24th September
A very busy and successful week – it’s great to see the girls improving match by match. Monday started with the U13 A + B teams against Farlington. The A team won convincingly 27 – 11 and the B team, which also included a number of Year 7s, played really well and showed great commitment. Wednesday was a busy afternoon with back-to-back matches, the U11, U10 and mixed U11/U10 teams all played close matches against Shoreham College. These matches were followed by U12 A + B and U13 A + B teams playing Brighton and Hove High School. The U12 A + B teams both lost by a goal and the U13 A team won very convincingly 26-8 and the B team looked close to winning until the last quarter.
Then finally on Friday, the U15 and U16 teams played against Shoreham in the Netball League. Both teams had great games and came away with two good scores, the U16s won 28 – 3 and the U15s won 27-4.
Well done to all the girls this week for their commitment and dedication to matches and practice.
