Weekly Sports Report – Week 17th September
The new school year got off to a busy start and it’s been great to see so many girls at netball club and trials. We had the first game of the season for many teams this week, starting with the U14s on Monday against Farlington School, which was a very evenly matched game, ending in a 7-7 draw.
It was great to see so many keen netballers on Wednesday afternoon. The U10s had their first game ever against Sompting Abbotts, which was a great learning experience for them. The U11s had a much closer game against Sompting Abbotts, whose team included some strong U12s, which gave them the advantage. The U13 A and B netball teams also played against Burgess Hill Girls.
The U16s had a successful game in the netball league this week against Bohunt and won by 23-9.
