The week started well with U14 and U15 netball matches against Shoreham College. The U14 team were strong competition for Shoreham College and were winning by half time. After a switch around of positions they continued to hold the lead and the game finished 38 – 2. The U15s had more of a competition at half time, winning only two goals, but they held the lead and ended the game winning 13-9.
On Wednesday the U13 and U15 swimming squad went to the Sussex Secondary Schools swimming qualifiers. Both teams competed in a team freestyle relay and medley relay; the teams did really well and enjoyed the experience but unfortunately did not qualify for the next round. After school the senior U14 and U15 netball teams went to Farlington School where the U14 played a very good game, winning 38 – 13. The U15s had a tougher game with many of the regular team unable to play: some of the U13 netballers stepped up and although they did a great job, the team were unable to take the lead and lost 20-5.
On Thursday the U16 and U15 netball teams played their league game against Davison School. The U15 worked hard throughout the four quarters and won 19-16 and the U16s, although they continued to put in effort, lost 37-4.
