Weekly Sports Report – 5th November
Straight back into a busy week after half term. The U14 football league started on Tuesday. As it was the first time Towers girls have competed, they did exceptionally well – playing 9 aside against Worthing High drawing 1-1 with a goal from Bea C. The U10 and U11 games away at Burgess Hill went ahead on Wednesday although we played in heavy rain – not so much fun for the girls. Both teams played well but the U11s won their game in real style with a fantastic score of 15-1.
Rain affected the U12 and U13 game against Shoreham College, but the U14 netball league game against Steyning Grammar went ahead inside and although not necessarily with the best possible outcome.
Lastly on Thursday as the weather was better and U12 and U13 A + B team were able to play against Christ’s Hospital where they won some and lost some.
This week inter-house cross country running has been taking part in lessons. The girls have become quite competitive and showed great commitment and house spirit. The results will be announced on Monday in assembly.
